About Us
Eric and Shelomi Mumba were launched out of the Waltham Forest Potters House 2022 annual bible conference to take over the pastorate of the fellowship church in Leeds from Kevin and Chanelle Hodges who pioneered the church in 1993.

Between then, The Potter's House Church in Leeds has also been pastored by David & Claudia Darkwah and Winston & Stephanie Gordon through which the church was able to launch its first baby church in Huddersfield, UK. The church has endeavoured to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the local community as well as been involved in global missions. Many lives have been visibly impacted through our bible-based vision that centres on Evangelism, Conversion, The Local Church, Discipleship, Church Planting and World Evangelism. The church here in Leeds is committed to continuing with this vision.

Eric and Shelomi have both experienced Jesus Christ and His power to change circumstances in their own lives from a young age and have also witnessed this in the lives of others.
"Growing up in Tottenham, North London on the notorious Broadwater Farm estate, I was exposed, witnessed and involved in a life that promised much but fulfilled little. Despite growing up with both parents at home, the street life of the ‘road’ appealed to me more than the principles my parents taught. As a young man growing up in that environment I desired the fast life. Making quick money, looking for momentary pleasure and vying for status and street cred. However I realised that all those were vanity and ‘chasing the wind’. I eventually had an encounter with Jesus Christ who by grace through faith has transformed me into the new creation where my old ways have passed away and now He has made all things in my life new. Today I stand as a new man, with a new life and a new purpose...and the good news is it’s not limited to me alone but is also available to you and ALL those who believe!” Ps Eric Mumba
